This year marks a significant milestone for Elise Capital as we celebrate five years in business. Since our founding in 2019, we have achieved remarkable growth:
Portfolio Expansion: Elise Capital now manages three hotels across two major brands, totaling 227 keys and $30 million in Assets Under Management.
Empowering Investors: We welcomed new investment partners, continuing our mission to make hotel investments more accessible to diverse communities.
Enhanced Asset Management: With increased site visits, collaborative “lunch and learns” with on-site teams, and innovative strategies with our management partners, we’ve refined our approach to drive success.
Goldman Sachs Partnership: Elise Capital participated in the Goldman Sachs One Million Black In Business program, gaining critical guidance to propel our vision forward through 2025.
Making A Community Impact
We remain committed to empowering the next generation of leaders in hospitality:
Guest Lectures: Our team shared expertise at prestigious institutions, including Morgan State University, Harvard University, Temple University, the University of the Bahamas, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Advisory Programs: We launched a new cohort to mentor aspiring hoteliers, offering guidance on development and acquisition projects.

Conference Participation: We attended key industry events, including ALIS, Hunter, and NYU. Our CEO, Kendra Plummer, was honored to speak as a panelist at Hunter and NYU.
Strategic Insights: At the IHG Owners and Operators Conference, we explored innovative strategies to enhance hotel operations and safeguard investments.
Advocacy and Representation: Kendra Plummer also served as a panelist at the National Association of Black Hotel Owners Summit and the inaugural Hospitality Hued Summit.
Leadership Recognition: Our CEO was elected to the IHG Owner’s Association Committee for the Holiday Inn Express brand.
